Exaton 22.11.L
Exaton 22.11.L is a chromium‑nickel strip electrode for electro‑slag welding (ESW) that deposits a single‑layer, corrosion‑resistant overlay (19% Cr/9% Ni) on carbon and low‑alloy steels. It can be paired with 19.9.L for two‑layer surfacing.
Key Features
- Developed for heavy‑duty SAW stainless steel welding
- Consistent wire quality batch‑to‑batch
- High corrosion‑resistant chemistry with increased Cr and Mo
- Low‑moisture SAW flux in robust 20‑25 kg drums
- Cost‑effective ESW flux reduces cladding layers and labor
Specifications
- Classifications: EN ISO 14343‑A : B 22 11 L, SFA/AWS A5.9 : EQ(309L)
- Typical Wire Composition (%): C ≤0.015, Mn 1.8, Si 0.2, S ≤0.020, P ≤0.020, Ni 11.5, Cr 21, Mo ≤0.3, Cu ≤0.1, FN WRC‑92 13
