Exaton 23.12.2.LR

Exaton 23.12.2.LR is a high‑alloy chromium‑nickel‑molybdenum covered stick electrode with a rutile coating, designed for welding dissimilar joints between stainless steel and mild or low‑alloyed steels and for creating buffer layers before overlay alloys.

Key Features

  • Excellent arc stability, low spatter, fast burn‑off and minimal stub loss
  • Improved moisture resistance and self‑peeling slag
  • Works in all standard weld positions with smooth, uniform beads
  • Suitable for buffer layers (18% Cr/8% Ni/2% Mo) prior to overlay deposits
