Exaton 24.13.LHF (GMAW)
Exaton 24.13.LHF welding wire is designed for MIG/MAG welding of dissimilar steels, especially austenitic stainless steels to low‑alloyed or non‑alloyed steels. It offers excellent resistance to hot cracking and can also be used for plasma welding, overlay welding with hot‑wire TIG and mechanized TIG.
Key Features
- High ferrite content for superior hot‑crack resistance
- Suitable for MIG/MAG, plasma, hot‑wire TIG and mechanized TIG
- Consistent chemistry and mechanical properties batch‑to‑batch
- Low‑moisture steel drum packaging (20‑25 kg)
- Provides productivity gains with single‑layer overlay welds
Specifications
- Alloy Type: Austenitic with approx. 14 % ferrite (24 % Cr, 13 % Ni, low C)
- Shielding Gas: M12, M13 (EN ISO 14175)
- Wire Diameter: 1.2 mm
- Amps: 150‑260 A
