Exaton 29.8.2.L (GTAW)
Exaton 29.8.2.L is a high‑performance GTAW filler metal designed for super‑duplex stainless steels such as SAF™ 2906 and SAF™ 3006, offering excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive acid and caustic environments.
Key Features
- Optimized chemistry with high Cr (29%) and Mo (2%) for superior resistance to acids (HCl, H₂SO₄, organic acids, HCOOH) and caustics (NaOH, KOH).
- Consistent wire quality batch‑to‑batch, ensuring reliable welds without extensive parameter trimming.
- Available in 5 kg drums, 2.4 mm, 2.0 mm and 1.6 mm diameters, 1000 mm length.
- Low moisture steel‑drum packaging protects flux and reduces shipping damage.
