Exaton AXT (GMAW) is a high‑performance AWS ER 307 filler metal with increased manganese content, designed to reduce fissuring and hot cracking in stainless steel welds.

  • Tensile Properties (As Welded): Yield 460 MPa, Tensile 650 MPa, Elongation 41 %
  • Charpy Impact (As Welded): 20 °C → 140 J, –196 °C → 27 J
  • Typical Wire Composition (%): C 0.08, Mn 7, Si 0.9, S ≤0.015, P ≤0.025, Ni 8, Cr 18, Mo ≤0.3, Cu ≤0.1, N ≤0.06
