
Exaton Ni54 (GMAW)
Exaton Ni54 is a nickel‑chrome‑molybdenum alloy filler metal (type C‑22) designed for MIG/MAG, hot‑wire TIG and mechanical TIG welding of stainless steels and nickel alloys in harsh, corrosive environments.

- Consistent chemistry and mechanical properties batch‑to‑batch.
- Available in 15 kg wire coils (1.2 mm diameter).

- Alloy composition: Ni 56 %, Cr 21.5 %, Mo 13.5 %, W 3 %, Fe 4.5 % (wire) / similar for weld metal.
- Shielding gas: I1, I3 (EN ISO 14175).
- Tensile properties (As Welded): Yield 500 MPa, Tensile 750 MPa, Elongation 44 %.
- Charpy impact: 160 J at 20 °C, 110 J at –196 °C (As Welded).
- Wire diameter: 1.2 mm.
- Recommended welding parameters: 150‑260 A, 24‑29 V, 3‑10 mm/min wire feed.
