Exaton Ni56 (GTAW) is a low‑carbon nickel‑chrome‑molybdenum alloy filler metal (UNS N06022) designed for TIG welding of nickel‑chrome‑molybdenum alloys and dissimilar metal joining.
Key Features
- Excellent wet corrosion resistance in oxidizing and strongly reducing media.
- Provides high strength welds (540 MPa yield, 780 MPa tensile) with good elongation.
- Consistent chemistry and mechanical properties batch‑to‑batch.
- Suitable for aggressive environments such as chemical processing, pulp & paper, waste treatment, sour gas and high‑pressure oxygen service.
