FILARC 27P

FILARC 27P is a low‑hydrogen stick electrode designed for downhill welding of pipe circumferential joints, offering high notch toughness and ductility to minimise cracking.

Key Features

  • Low‑hydrogen weld metal with excellent ductility
  • Optimised for API 5LX52‑X70 pipe steels
  • Provides 25‑30% faster productivity than cellulosic electrodes and 40‑50% faster than conventional low‑hydrogen electrodes for vertical up‑welds
  • Works best with DC‑ polarity and short‑arc, beaded or weaved runs
