FILARC KV3L
The FILARC KV3L is a basic‑coated low‑alloy stick electrode designed for welding creep‑resisting steels such as 2.25Cr‑1Mo (10 CrMo 9 10) and 0.5Cr‑0.5Mo‑0.025V alloys.
Key Features
- Basic coating with max 0.05 % C for low carbon weld metal
- Low Mn/Si content reduces solidification cracking risk
- Vacuum‑packed (VacPac™) packaging keeps electrodes dry and ready to use
- Suitable for all positions with recommended preheat 165‑190 °C
Specifications
- Classifications: SFA/AWS A5.5 : E8015‑B3L, EN ISO 3580‑A : E CrMo2L B 2 2 H5
- Approvals: Seproz : UNA 272581, VdTÜV
- Welding Current: DC+
- Diffusible Hydrogen: < 5.0 ml/100 g
- Alloy Type: Low alloyed
- Coating Type: Basic
- Deposition Data:
- 2.5 mm × 350 mm – 65‑95 A, 24 V, 57 % efficiency, 0.7 kg/h
- 3.2 mm × 350 mm – 90‑130 A, 24 V, 55 % efficiency, 1.0 kg/h
- 4.0 mm × 350 mm – 125‑165 A, 24 V, 57 % efficiency, 1.3 kg/h
Applications
- Welding of creep‑resisting low‑alloy steels (e.g., 2.25Cr‑1Mo)
- Suitable for 0.5Cr‑0.5Mo‑0.025V steels
- Works in all welding positions with appropriate preheat
