OK Flux 10.93
OK Flux 10.93 is a basic agglomerated flux designed for butt welding of stainless steels, especially high‑alloyed CrNi steels such as duplex stainless steel. It can be combined with NiCrMo‑3 and NiCrMo‑4 wires for improved weld properties.
Key Features
- Basic fluoride‑rich flux (CaF₂‑Al₂O₃‑SiO₂) for SAW applications
- Low silicon addition for good mechanical properties
- Compatible with a wide range of OK Autrod wires
- Provides higher welding speed and reduced consumable cost
Specifications
- Classifications: EN ISO 14174 : S A AF 2 56 54 DC
- Approvals: CE EN 13479, DB 51.039.10, UKCA EN 13479
- Slag Type: Fluoride basic CaF₂‑Al₂O₃‑SiO₂
- Alloy Transfer: Non‑alloying
- Density: 1.0 kg/dm³ (nominal)
- Basicity Index: 1.9 (nominal)
- Flux consumption (SAW): 26 V → 0.5 kg, 30 V → 0.6 kg, 34 V → 0.8 kg, 38 V → 1.0 kg
Applications
- Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) of stainless and duplex steels
- Cladding and overlay applications with high‑alloy wires
- Production welding where high deposition rates are required
