Stoody 966-G

Stoody 966-G is a molybdenum‑tungsten high‑speed tool steel hardfacing filler metal offering superior wear resistance compared to conventional chromium carbides. It is designed for repair and maintenance of carbon, 300 series stainless and manganese steels where cross‑checking must be avoided.

Key Features

• High concentration of uniformly distributed small primary carbides for excellent wear resistance
• Provides wear resistance equal to or greater than conventional chromium carbides
• Can be applied crack‑free without preheat on many steels
• Suitable for MIG and TIG processes (GMAW/GTAW)
